I vini Bianchi
DAPHNE
An aging white wine vinified entirely in wood for one year. It is a buttery, full-bodied, soft wine, to pair with the great dishes of the Aosta Valley tradition, such as the "valpellenètse" or with typical Savoyard dishes, such as the "Raclette".
Its name – Daphne: the origins of this label derive from the Daphne Alpina, a rare and poisonous plant found almost exclusively on the Gressan moraine "la Côte de Gargantua".
Like Daphne, our wine is unique and intensely tied to the territory of our land.
What should I expect while sipping a glass of Daphne?
To drink a white disguised as red, an important white, not trivial, extremely complex and long, both to taste and to smell. You should expect to put the bottle in the cellar to age, and then be free to taste it after many years. In any case, you will always have to deal with a product that, even when just bottled, will give you completely different emotions compared to other younger, fresh and, so to speak, "easy" wines. Remember: Daphne is a thick white, to be appreciated in combination with suitable dishes. We are not talking about a simple drink, but a unique and charismatic wine label.
