Stories of grapevines and life mix when, on a regular basis, we find ourselves where everything began, where everything is born: the vineyard.
And here, our hands get dirty, filling themselves with those flavors and fragrances that make the harvest experience an ancestral moment, faraway, lost over time in tradition. It is a repetition of ancient and well-known gestures, which have their roots in the past of our family. It is about letting your eyes get lost along the grape rows, caressing the pale outline of the horizon at dawn and at dusk, when its set ablaze with flames.
Afterwards, the story continues in the process of winemaking, in which creativity and wisdom guide us, accompanying every insight, every desire to experiment, every opportunity to experience something new. Yet, life and grapevines moments would not be the same without our family; because yes, ours is not a job, but a perennial sharing, a delightful and friendly way of being together, mixing not only juicy grapes and amber grapes, but also, and above all, bottling memories and experiences that, like wine, will age over decades until they become nostalgic memories with delicate and pungent notes.

We like to experiment and we never back down: whether it is an unprecedented refinement, or the preparation of a new wine, we love to overturn that tradition of which we are proud heirs and daring innovators.
When we have an idea in mind, we hardly give up. That is why we often embark on visionary and complex enterprises, to create wine labels that require years of refinement, patient waiting, and diligent care.
It would be easy to talk about passion, but what motivates us every day is something much deeper, rooted in childhood, in the love for the vineyard that our grandfather passed on to us: sincere interest, genuine curiosity, wholehearted enthusiasm.
Gressan – Aosta Valley
Legend has it that the spur of elongated shape overlooking the small town of Gressan is not simply an ice debris accumulation, but the pinky finger of the giant Gargantua.
Our passion for the vineyard and wine is born right on these slopes. Here, our grandfather transmitted to us love for the land, making us realize how important the time devoted to the care of the vineyard is. This is where the first winemaking begins.
Now, we are happy to be able to experience these emotions every day and we hope to share them with you through the scents and aromas of our wines.

Cave Gargantua
Great wine is an evolving masterpiece in progress, never definitively set. It feigns immobility and is able to deceive time for several decades. Its purpose is to be drinkable and to disappear along with the pleasure it brings. It is enough that you own enough bottles in your cellar for your old age, and it gives you the timelessness of sculptures and paintings or the repetitive availability of music and poetry.

As a young trainee, he is gaining experience to become our future manager in the vineyard. He is responsible for everything that concerns the vineyards, from pruning to harvesting.
On paper, he is the company commercial and administrative manager, but in practice he takes care of everything. He never says no if you need him to get his hands dirty in the vineyard or to bottle.
Responsible for strategic and digital marketing for Cave Gargantua. Added value: in addition to being an expert in his field, he is also a sommelier.
Founder of the winery, creator of wines, and a great scholar of oenology. A bit of a scientist and a bit of a poet, he is constantly looking for perfection and original refinements.
New team member, mainly joining Laurent in the cellar to master our concept of oenology and to learn our working style, mindset, and method.
The head of the family, Laurent and André's father. Like them, he took up the wine legacy from Grandpa Pierino. The vineyard is his world.
